Challenge

How much does each beach's shoreline move over the multi-year series, and does the daily waterline on macro-tidal Atlantic beaches (Cadiz, Cies, Agrelo) respond to the tide far more than on the near-tideless Mediterranean sites (Samarador, Arenal d'en Tem)?

Where to start
Load the GeoJSON with GeoPandas: each feature is a MultiPoint waterline for one site on one date, with the tide level in elevation_m. Reproject a beach to UTM, then turn each shoreline into a single cross-shore position (e.g. project its centroid onto the PCA minor axis) to build a metre-scale movement time-series. Correlate that position with elevation_m, then repeat for an Atlantic and a Mediterranean beach.
What to share
A shoreline-position time-series (and date-coloured map) for at least one beach, plus a table comparing tidal range and the tide–shoreline correlation across Atlantic vs Mediterranean sites.
